Esnaola - Dulce de Batata a la Vainilla - 350g
Dulce de batata is one of the most Argentine desserts there is, and Esnaola has been making it since 1925. This vanilla version is smooth, firm and sliceable — exactly what you need for the classic postre vigilante (or "Martín Fierro"): a slice of dulce de batata with a slice of cheese.
My Argentine customers also use it in pastafrolas, pastelitos and tortas. The 350g tub is the right size for a smaller household, or to try it for the first time.
